Wagering Calculator
Compute required wagering volume given bonus amount, WR multiplier, and bonus-vs-deposit base.
Wagering Requirement Calculator
Casino welcome bonuses come with wagering requirements — you must bet a multiple of the bonus (or bonus+deposit) before withdrawing. This calculator shows the actual betting volume required, the expected loss at typical slot RTP, and how long it takes to clear at common bet sizes. Run the math before claiming any bonus.
Result
Compute total wagering volume, expected loss, and clearing time.
What "wagering" actually means
- Bonus-only WR: a $100 bonus at 35× requires $3,500 of bets before the bonus converts to withdrawable cash. Common at fair operators (Bitstarz, mBit).
- Deposit+bonus WR: $100 deposit + $100 bonus at 35× requires $7,000 of bets. Twice as harsh. Read the T&Cs.
- Game weighting: Slots usually count 100% toward WR. Live dealer 10–20%. Sportsbook bets often 0% (don't help WR). Check the bonus terms.
- Max bet cap: Most bonuses cap bets at $5 or $7 while wagering. Exceeding the cap voids the bonus.
Expected loss math
At 96% RTP, every dollar wagered loses an average of 4 cents. Total expected loss = wagering_volume × (1 − RTP). If expected loss exceeds your bonus amount, the bonus is mathematically negative-EV — you'll lose money on average even after clearing it. Use this tool to check before claiming.
